Calling all plant enthusiasts! Bring your extra houseplants, clippings, and propagations to the library to swap with others & chat with fellow plant lovers.
Planning:
- Only bring plants & containers that you are willing to part with.
- All plants must be healthy & pest-free.
- All indoor houseplants are welcome as long as they easily fit in a car and are not excessively heavy.
- Please bring your own box or container to carry your new plants home.
Day of Swap:
- Tables labeled "Adopt" are for extra/unwanted plants. These are the only plants that will be freely available to take home, no swapping required.
- Set up your plants at any of the available tables. Please ask us if you need help finding space.
- Once your plants are unpacked and displayed, put a nametag on yourself and a nametag on your table spot. You can then walk around the swap and see if there are any plants you want.
- If you see a plant you like, talk to the owner and ask if they would like to trade for any of your plants.
- Be respectful to your fellow attendees. Do not grab plants from people as they are walking in, and do not take plants without the owner's consent.
- Trades and giveaways only, no selling. To encourage trading, no selling/buying of plants among participants will be allowed.
No registration required.
