Read aloud to your favorite four-legged friend, Mason!

Practice reading in a supportive environment with a trained therapy dog! Read-to-a-dog programs help kids develop literacy skills and build confidence and self-esteem. Register for a 10-minute timeslot to read to Mason, a Bright Spot certified Reading Buddy. This program is best for independent readers, ages 5 and up.

Call the library to register for a 10 minute time slot. 

Kids will really enjoy engaging with Mason the therapy dog, whether they're reading to him in a calm, friendly environment or casually chatting with Bonnie about Mason, asking questions, and petting him.

Kid's are asked to bring a short book to read.
