New monthly program for ages 5+

We're excited to announce that the Wilbraham Public Library is now hosting a fun and engaging monthly LEGO® Club! The Brooks Room will be turned into a LEGO® lovers’ paradise, filled with thousands of bricks for kids to play, create, and have a great time.

Anyone ages 5 and up is welcome to join us once a month for LEGO® Club. We provide the LEGOs; you provide the imagination. The LEGO® Club is completely drop-in, which means you don’t need to register ahead of time. Families can come and go any time during the 90-minute time slot (the last 30 minutes will be dedicated to clean-up).

This program is not suitable for children under the age of 5 due to small pieces posing a choking hazard.

The club will take place from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on the following days: September 10th, October 8th, November 12th, December 10th, January 14th, April 8th, and May 13th. Please note LEGO Club will not meet in February or March.

Once they have finished building, they show their creations to Ms. Jaime, who photographs them to be displayed in the library for the month.

LEGO® building is a great way to introduce children to STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Math).  While creating their masterpieces, kids are exploring STEAM concepts through hands-on experimentation.  Building, counting and designing are skills that develop naturally when using LEGOs.

LEGO® Club is a fantastic way to make new friends and have some fun together. We'd love for you to join us!
